Thank you for your interest in the Jeff Larish Elite Camp. This two day camp is designed to provide high school baseball players with an inside look into what it takes to get to the next level. Whether it is college or pro ball, on the field or off, we aim to educate you on everything you will need to know to accomplish these goals. These spots will fill up fast, so hurry and sign up today!

STAFF
WHO WILL BE RUNNING THE CAMP

  • Jeff Larish

    Was an All-American at Arizona State. Played at ASU from 2002-2005. Tied a College World Series record for 3 HR’s in one game in 2005. In the Top 10 All-time in ASU history in 12 offensive categories, including 2nd all-time in career homeruns. Was on the 2003 US National Team that won the silver medal in the Pan American Games. Drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 5th Round in 2005. Made his major league debut with the Tigers in 2008. Finished the 2010 season with the Oakland A’s. Currently with the Philadelphia Phillies. Attended McClintock High School in Tempe.

  • Jeff Forney

    The former strength and conditioning coach for the Arizona Diamondbacks. The former hitting coach for the Arizona State Sun Devils and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The author of several manuals, videos, books, and articles on hitting and strength and conditioning. He is a recognized leader in the study of explosive movements and their specific applications for baseball. The Founder of Triple Threat Inc and the Arizona Baseball Recruiting Network. The founder of Baseball Player University, a national television instructional baseball show.

  • Doug Larish

    Has a Ph.D. in Exercise Science with over 30 years experience in training athletes. A former Professor of Exercise Science at the University of Iowa and Arizona State University. Has authored two baseball training manuals for youth baseball coaches and a guest speaker at numerous baseball camps, workshops, and conferences. A former educational consultant to California Angels. Worked directly with Joe Maddon, the current manager of the Tampa Bay Rays. The founder and director of Desert Youth Sports Association. The strength and conditioning coach at Mesa High School for last 10 years. Was awarded the 2009 Mesa Public Schools Wellness/Fitness Champion of the Year.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • Players

    • Will spend the entire two days interacting with Jeff Larish on a personal level

    • Will go through off season workouts with Jeff Larish

    • Will be educated on the application of proper nutrition

    • Will receive hitting lessons from Jeff Larish covering the mental, physical, and visual sides of the game

    • Will receive a DVD of your swing which will be analyzed by Jeff Larish

  • Parents

    • Are encouraged to enjoy the experience along with your player

    • Are encouraged to ask questions and take notes

    • Will receive an educational presentation on college recruiting followed by a Q&A by Jeff Forney

Personal Hitting DVD

Players have the rare opportunity of having their swing personally analyzed by Jeff Larish. In addition to the personalized feedback, Jeff will recommend specific drills to help improve your swing. Using the state of the art Triple Threat Baseball software, Jeff will create a hitting lesson that you can visit time and time again. In this package:

  • • Swings are recorded, voiced over, compared side-by-side to professional hitters
  • • Proper angles and lines drawn at the correct points
  • • Your swings are then burned to a DVD for you to take home and review over and over
